Something in the water...

This picture was taken back in October (09) at my baby shower. These girls are some of my dear friends from our church in AZ. We were acutally all in the same Bible study small group too!....all pregnant at the same time, as you can clearly see :) We are standing in order of our due dates (right to left).

and in just 4 short months, we have 5 healthy adorable babies! Still waiting for Shelley's little guy to arrive (only two more weeks...woohoo)!

We were able to take these picture a couple of weeks ago while I was down in Phoenix!

It was absolutely priceless seeing them all lined up...priceless. :)

What a blessing getting to meet all these little cuties! And if you can believe it, there are more on the way for the Desert Breeze Community Church congregation! I believe the count is like 15 prego ladies right now...definitely something in the water!

Baby's first vacation!

Audrey and I flew down south to Arizona a couple weeks ago. Thanks to my dad who bought our ticket! I was super nervous about the flight with the baby, but, thankfully she did GREAT! She must like to travel like her mommy. ;) Minus the fact that the trip totally thru off Audrey's schedule and we got minimal amount of sleep, it was such a blessing to hang out with my family/friends and introduce my baby girl to everyone. Oh and I got to wear flip-flops everyday...the weather was PERFECTION!!

Here are a few pics from Audrey's first visit to the great southwest!...

Looking cute in her little sun hat!

Taking an afternoon snooze on the back porch...only in AZ! ;)

Four generations!

So cool to have my grandparents down from Idaho at the same time...Audrey got to meet her GREAT-Grandparents! ;)
Seriously, Audrey LOVED my dad and I'm pretty sure he's smitten with her! They quickly became best buds. I hesitated to post the second pic...it looks like she's afraid of the dogs (which she wasn't). My dad thought this was hilarious, she didn't so much. ;)

We had a great time seeing my mom too...I love this second picture of the two of them. So sweet.

Audrey with my future sister-in-law and then with my brother, Jake. :)

One of the other Grandmas, Pam :)
I have to admit, it was super hard to come back home knowing I had to leave everyone behind. But on the bright side, it makes our visits all the more sweeter. ;)

Reason to celebrate...

Let no one caught in sin remain
Inside the lie of inward shame
We fix our eyes upon the cross
And run to Him who showed great love

And bled for us
Freely You've bled for us

Christ is risen from the dead
Trampling over death by death
Come awake, come awake
Come and rise up from the grave
Christ is risen from the dead
We are one with Him again
Come awake, come awake
Come and rise up from the grave

Beneath the weight of all our sin
You bowed to none but heaven's will
No scheme of hell, no scoffer's crown
No burden great can hold You down

In strength You reign
Forever let Your church proclaim

O death, where is your sting?
O hell, where is your victory?
O church, come stand in the light
The glory of God has deafed the night
O death, where is your sting?
O hell, where is your victory?
O church, come stand in the light
Our God is not dead
HE'S ALIVE! HE'S ALIVE!

"Christ is Risen"- Matt Maher/Mia Fields

This song has been playing on repeat in my head the past few days as I have been reflecting on the cross and the sacrifice Jesus made for the atonement of my sins.

Here is the little lady in her Easter dress. Praying she will one day know the weight of what Christ did for her and what this weekend means...not just chocolate bunnies, and egg hunts. ;) Isn't she so stinkin' cute!?

Happy Resurrection day, friends! Hope this day finds you celebrating the Victory we have in Jesus and the promise of new life!!
